Dublin Sports Injury Clinic is a Physical Therapy clinic based in Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin2. We specialize in musculoskeletal or sports injury management, rehabilitation, and injury prevention. Whether you are an elderly person or a high-level athlete with acute or chronic pain (for instance, knee pain, back pain, or shoulder pain), we help you to manage your injury/pain and provide you with a customized plan for the quickest recovery. The clinic incorporates a treatment room and a Strength and Conditioning facility. Every patient will be assessed and examined individually in the clinic. Your customized exercise plan will be sent to your phone directly after the session, and complete guidelines you may need to follow.

Bob is a qualified Physical Therapist. He qualified in 2016 with the distinction. He also has a B.Sc. in Physical Education and Sports Science since 2006. While he was working as a personal trainer back then, he continued his master’s degree in Sports Psychology and graduated in 2011. He has been working as a coach and personal trainer for the last 12 years, but he never stops learning. He has upskilled extensively in many areas by meeting many experts in this field and has developed his unique assessment and treatment approach. He works with patients with different injuries, such as knee pain, back pain, shoulder pain, and more regularly runners and common gym injuries and helping them to understand the root of their injury and assist them in getting pain-free and staying active.

Holistic approach

In our clinic we believe every patient has a story to tell regarding their injury etc. We listen to you and see how your injury effects your daily lifestyle. We rule out the cause of your pain, and our treatment will focus on the cause of your pain rather than treating a painful site.

Patient education will be part of our treatment. Understanding the pain is essential for every individual for faster recovery. While we explain how and why we perceive pain in layman’s terms, we show you how to monitor your daily activity within a pain-free range of movement.

Our team has a holistic approach to diagnosis and treatment. Initially, we assess not only the area that is sore but also your body movements as a whole unit. We explain your diagnosis in everyday language and design a customized treatment to help you to become pain-free as fast as possible. We use manual therapy to maximize your recovery as part of treatment.

We are confident that you will receive customized rehabilitation exercises to help you stay pain-free and stronger. We also show you the exercises and coach you to get familiar with exercise techniques. Meanwhile, we progress your exercises step by step to assist you in taking over and continuing your exercises to full recovery.
